See you at the Rio!
Evo 2009 is at the Rio. Introductory post here…blah blah. With Alchemy, Web application developers can now reuse hundreds of millions of lines of existing open source C and C++ client or server-side code on the Flash Platform. Alchemy brings the power of high performance C and C++ libraries to Web applications with minimal degradation on AVM2. The C/C++ code is compiled to ActionScript 3.0 as a SWF or SWC that runs on Adobe Flash Player 10 or Adobe AIR 1.5.
Super Street Fighter 4 Tournament, 2010
Super Street Fighter is back with this new tournament game being released on April 27, 2010. This is the sequel to the wildy popular Street Fighter IV. Start practicing up!
Tournament Rules
| Format: | 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, No Handicap |
| Console: | PlayStation 3 |
| Rules: | If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select. |
| Winner must keep the same character, but can select a new ultra in game 2 or 3, but has to pick the ultra before the opponent picks theirs. This does not apply to blind pick. |
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix Tournament, 2010

“HD Remix” refreshes one of the most beloved Street Fighter games of all time. In 2010 Evo is bringing back HD Remix.

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Tournament, 2010
Capcom has begun to revive the “Versus” series with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and has just released the game in the US. Get to practicing!

The most popular VS series is back and its on Playstation 3 with online play. Will the online warriors show up and try to steal the crown from veterans?

| Rules: | You may not use any glitch that prevent the game from being played. |
| Deadbody infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but not to delay the game | |
| Winner may not use the “Switch Glitch” to have a different starting character. | |
| Winner must keep same starting character, but can switch the order of assists. | |
| You may not use the same character twice on one team. |
Street Fighter IV Regional 5 on 5 Exhibition, 2009

Which part of the US has the best street fighters? This team tournament exhibition will find out! Teams from around the US will face of for bragging rights on Capcom’s brand new fighter.

Team Format
- Each team is made up of 5 members
- Each team can only have one of each character. No 5 Bisons on a team.
- Players must stick with their character throughout the exhibition
- Players must live in the region they represent.
- Single elimination tournament
- Matches are done elimination style. So team member 1 on each team plays, winner stays. When one team is out of members, they lose.

Eager for Evo 2009 Information?
We know everyone is eagerly awaiting the information for this year’s event, so we have decided to post a update for the masses. The Evo 2009 location will be announced in mid February, along with the dates and the roster for this year.
